nathan conley memorial scholarship

Nathan lost his battle with addiction at the age of 20. He had a very traumatic childhood and in an effort to cope with his pain he turned to drugs. Nathan expressed feeling alone, however, he never wanted to be a burden to those he loved. He always had a smile on his face in an attempt to hide his pain. Nathan had the biggest heart and would do anything for those he loved. Nathan tried very hard to be happy and live life to its fullest. he had dreams of serving in the military and making a difference in the world. He had a servant’s heart and was not afraid of hard work. He completed two mission trips through Teen Missions International. He served in Ecuador and Puerto Rico. Despite Nathan’s best efforts to live life to the fullest, he could not break free from the trauma and pain that plagued his life.

We all know someone like Nathan. Someone, that despite how much they are loved, they continue to struggle. This scholarship was created so that Nathan’s death would not be in vain. This scholarship will be used to help other young people like Nathan, who otherwise could not afford treatment, to get the help they need to heal their wounds and live the life they were meant to live. Nathan’s life mattered and through your contirubion, his desire to make a positive difference in the world can be fulfilled.
